I use the following gaming hardware
G9 Gaming Mouse

For me the cool stuff with this mouse include the additional buttons that can be clicked by my thumb (I was previously using a 2 button + wheel mouse) and the ability to on the fly.
G13 Advanced Gameboard

This is probably the single biggest change in my gameplay since I stopped click-casting. It is great fun.
First off I decided to not go for a traditional WASD mapping for my movement keys, instead utilising the stick for my movement, combined with mouse movements.
My fingers primarily sit on G10-12 and primarily move to G3-5 for my oh crap buttons.
G15-19 are for my wicked dps spells haha
Summary
In summary both devices are true to their ‘Gaming’ names and I believe are great pieces of equipement. I hope that by removing the need to use 4 keys for movement my reaction time to get important heals out should improve.
I am sure their are plenty of other similar products out there… in saying that I’m excited by these ones and happy with my choice!

Quick question Upy… Do you press a button to cast a spell? If so does it mean you need to click on ther person’s frame in grid then press the button on your fancy keyboard thingo?
I use healbot and basically have all my spells cast by clicking one of the mouse buttons and maybe a modifier.
Ie. Left click – LHW
Right click – Chain Heal
3rd mouse or Ctrl right – Riptide
Ctrl Left mouse – Dispell (I also tried it bound to the mouse wheel but I didnt like it)
Alt left – Earth shield
Most of my other stuff is keybinds (totems, water shield and the oh shit button)
I do not use Clique, I have all my spells setup as Mouseover macros like this:
Then I mouseover my target and hit the button on my keyboard (or in my case gamepad).
question: is the thumbstick on the g13 switchable to the right side? im left handed so i would want to use the g13 with my right hand.. thanks
