A part of playing wow is that you will deal with people who are selfish and a little (or a lot) emo. I guess as an officer it is hard to not take it a little personally (especially if they have a generic swing at officers on the way out) but it’s something that’s part of wow life.

I try to look at it that the guild is much better without those people who would jump ship at the first sign of a progression wall, or who would be so easily swayed to jump to another guild.

On the positive it does have the potential to bring the core raid group closer, and promotes discussion as well.
